Psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich claimed his ‘cloudbuster’ made rain; on a 1953 paid ‘rainmaking’ for blueberry farmers it rained that day; the FDA prosecuted him for selling ‘orgone’ devices across state lines, and he died in prison in 1957 with his books ordered burned.
